All signs seem to have former Eagles coach Andy Reid wearing red instead of green in 2013, as many reports state he’s the head man to take over as the Chiefs head coach for fired Romeo Crennel.
There may be a pretty big stumbling block, as Ian Rapoport of NFL.com states that Reid will only come to KC if he can have his pal Tom Heckert, the just fired GM of the Cleveland Browns, with him. That would for sure throw a wrench in the plans, as the Chiefs announced they were not going to fire GM Scott Pioli.
Heckert and Reid were together as a tandem in Philadelphia, so it only makes sense that the two work together again in a new market.
