Tomorrow night is the biggest day in the offseason of the NFL – the 2013 NFL Draft. Most years, the draft seems to revolve around what quarterbacks are going to be taken where, but it seems like in 2013, that’s not the case.
Some draft experts have as little as one QB going in round one, with most predicting it will be West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith.
Smith has been criticized by many, and most think that he will be nothing more than an average at best NFL QB.
Don’t tell that to Smith, who recently had a message for draft experts via Twitter:
“Just want to thank all those so called “experts” who say I can’t be an NFL QB. Thursday will be a special day but the work has only begun.”
We shall see what team takes a shot on Smith (Buffalo?) on Thursday night, and if that risk pays off in the years to come.
