WR Sterling Shepard Back for the New York Giants Sunday, Cody Latimer Won’t Play

The Giants will have a new quarterback in Daniel Jones when they take the field on Sunday, and he will have the benefit of having one of the teams best receivers back.

Pro Football Talk reports that New York will have the services of receiver Sterling Shepard in the lineup. Shepard missed the first two games of the season with a concussion.

The wide out cleared the concussion protocol over the course of this week and will be ready to take the field when New York travels to Tampa to play the Buccaneers.

While Shepard will play, one receiver that won’t is Cody Latimer. The receiver remains in the concussion protocol after taking a shot to the head in the Giants 28-14 loss to the Bills Sunday.
