Whose Side Are You On Today After Sunday’s Protests Around the NFL Against President Trump’s Comments

From a comment from President Donald Trump to a number of teams reacting in a number of different ways on Sunday, there’s plenty of back and forth about the NFL and its future after Sunday’s National Anthem situation around the league.

Players knelt, locked arm in arm, and some stayed in the tunnel and locker room to protest the President stating that he would ‘fire’ any player if he owned a team that didn’t respect the flag.

One player that did come out and put his hand on his heart for the anthem was Steelers offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva, who served in the military and even served his country in Iraq.

If you think that folks for some reason didn’t agree with Villanueva not staying with the rest of his team in the tunnel, fans are reacting today by snatching up his jersey more than ANY other player in the NFL with a show of support.

As this controversy continues, it’s going to make headlines week after week as players continue to protest the President and what he’s already said.

The league ratings will very interesting this week as a number of fans have spoken out stating they will no longer support a league that allows its players to protest and some stating it’s very much against the flag and the United States.

It’s a HUGE problem for the league, and one that commish Roger Goodell had better address as that’s all they seemingly spoke about on the pregame and post game shows on Sunday, more so than the action on the field.

How do you feel about the players and what they did on Sunday? Do you support them or are you upset with the way they acted in protest to the President’s Friday comments?
