Seven weeks are done in the NFL, and there’s been plenty of stunning developments as far as the good and the bad for teams thus far.
One division has been surprisingly bad as far as the play is concerned through seven weeks, that being the AFC South. While many felt the Titans and Jags would be bad, the surprise of the division is that of the Colts, a team that many experts had picked to going to Super Bowl 50 for the AFC.
Why has this division taken such a decline to this point? Consider that the four teams are a combined 8-19, and as far as points allowed to given up, the Titans actually have the best differential in that department, only having allowed 20 more points than their opponents, this despite sitting at 1-5.
So what’s gone wrong in the AFC South? Today we take a few reasons as to why this division which was supposed to house maybe the best team in the conference is the worst of the eight divisions in the league.
