Philip Rivers (Chargers QB)- Rivers is enjoying a career season. The average Jaguars pass defense provides a favorable matchup.
Cam Newton (Panthers QB)- Don’t look now but the Panthers are heating up. Cam Newton was efficient last week, throwing for three touchdowns against Minnesota.
Adrian Peterson (Vikings RB)- AP hasn’t played quite as well as he did last year but a game against the 26th ranked Giants rush defense is just what the doctor ordered.
Dez Bryant (Cowboys WR)– Almost every matchup is favorable when we’re talking about Dez Bryant. Consider last week’s 36 yard performance as a fluke.
Josh Gordon (Browns WR)- Josh Gordon has had at least 71 receiving yards in each of his last four games and the Packers are also ranked 28th against the pass.
Colin Kaepernick (49ers QB)– Not only has Kaepernick struggled to pass the football but he hasn’t been much of a threat running the football either. This could be a risky play vs. a solid Titans defense.
Josh Freeman (Vikings QB)– Not sure how much Freeman can contribute in his first start with the Vikings.
Jacquizz Rodgers (Falcons RB)– Rodgers had two touchdowns against the Jets two weeks ago but “Quizz” has never been reliable.
Harry Douglas (Falcons WR)– Harry Douglas will see the field more since Roddy White and Julio Jones are out. But, don’t expect him to put up Jones/White type numbers.
Austin Pettis (Rams WR)– Austin Pettis has been hit or miss all season. Against Houston he had just one catch for 12 yards but against Jacksonville he had two touchdowns. It doesn’t get any easier vs. the seventh ranked Panthers pass defense.
Tony Gonzalez (Falcons TE)– Tony Gonzalez is going to have to carry the load with all of the Falcons injuries. Matt Ryan will throw his way early and often.
