The Super Bowl Could Be Final Game as a Raven For Jacoby Jones, Anquan Boldin

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Baltimore Ravens could cut WR Anquan Boldin, WR Jacoby Jones, or both in an attempt to get under the salary cap.

Other reports are that the Ravens will attempt to work out a long-term deal with Jones.

Anquan Boldin is a warrior in his work ethic, ability to high point a football, his physical blocking, and his punishment he administers after the catch. He appears to love being a Raven. Perhaps he’d take less to stay there. After all, he did say QB Joe Flacco was the most talented QB he’s played with.

In my opinion, they have a capable replacement for Jacoby Jones in David Reed. They would definitely miss Jones’ speed, but Reed is pretty blazing himself. It seems like the coaching staff likes Tandon Doss more, but he doesn’t seem to be as shifty as Reed, and Doss constantly has hands issues on crucial receptions.
