Tampa Bay Buccaneers Veteran CB Brent Grimes One of Four Players Questionable for Sunday’s Game

Buccaneers No.1 cornerback Brent Grimes is officially listed as questionable for the Week 13 matchup against the Carolina Panthers according to Greg Auman of The Athletic.

Grimes is dealing with a knee injury and his status was downgraded after he was unable to practice on Friday.

There is still a decent chance that the 12-year veteran will suit up against their NFC South divisional foes. If that weren’t enough, both Carlton Davis (knee) and M.J. Stewart (foot) have already been ruled out in Tampa Bay’s secondary.

If Grimes can’t go, the Bucs would have no choice to start Ryan Smith, De’Vante Harris, and Javien Elliott. It could be a long afternoon for the Bucs defense against Cam Newton. The 35-year-old Grimes signed a one-year deal to stay in Tampa in March.
