It sounds like the match made in heaven between the Bengals and LB James Harrison has turned sour.
Reports from NFL.com state that talks have broken off between the 2007 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and the Bengals, who need a linebacker.
The Bengals are showing interest in Harrison as well as former Dolphins linebacker Karlos Dansby.
For now Harrison, who turns 35 in May, is not known to have any other teams going after him. The Steelers asked him to take a big pay cut, which he balked at, which is why he was released in early March.
The five-time Pro Bowler has 64 sacks and 29 forced fumbles in his career.
