Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin Expects to Play Despite Leg Injury

Despite being listed as questionable on the official injury report, Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin expects to suit up for Sunday’s road game against the San Francisco 49ers according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.

Baldwin missed the Seahawks Monday Night Football win over the Minnesota Vikings but is on track to return after practicing on a limited basis the past two days.

His snaps may be scaled back at less than 100 percent and Baldwin is at risk of getting rested if Seattle pulls away early. Baldwin runs most of his routes in the slot, so he should avoid Richard Sherman’s coverage.

It has been a disappointing and injury-riddled season for Baldwin with only 37 receptions for 388 yards and two touchdowns in ten games but the 30-year-old wideout is still Russell Wilson’s favorite receiver when on the field.
