Ravens WR Boldin Says He’ll Retire If Released

Ravens wide out Anquan Boldin is due to make a lot of money in 2013, to the tune of $6 million.

There’s been plenty of chatter that the Ravens may wind up releasing the former Cardinals WR, and if that happens, the 32-year-old claims that he’s going to retire instead of going back out on the market and playing for another team.

Boldin was huge in the postseason for the Ravens, catching 22 passes for 380 yards in four games to go along with four touchdowns. It may just be a threat, but it will be interesting to see if he does retire if released.

Anquan Boldin, who’s due $6 million in 2013, told NBC Sports Radio he’ll retire if Ravens cut him.
