Raiders Won’t Be Making A Deal For 3rd Pick With Cleveland

The talks about tonight’s NFL Draft is heating up. The Raiders are looking for a trading partner with the 3rd overall pick, but don’t count on it being the Browns.’s Albert Breer reported Thursday that the Browns do not plan to trade up, according to a team source.

The Browns have the No. 6 overall selection. Breer reported earlier Thursday there were rumors the Browns could attempt to move into the Raiders’ spot to land a pass rusher.

With Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher and Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel widely believed to be selected among the top-two picks, the team that picks third should have the choice of any defender.
