Raiders Won’t Be Making A Deal For 3rd Pick With Cleveland

The talks about tonight’s NFL Draft is heating up. The Raiders are looking for a trading partner with the 3rd overall pick, but don’t count on it being the Browns.

NFL.com’s Albert Breer reported Thursday that the Browns do not plan to trade up, according to a team source.

The Browns have the No. 6 overall selection. Breer reported earlier Thursday there were rumors the Browns could attempt to move into the Raiders’ spot to land a pass rusher.

With Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher and Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel widely believed to be selected among the top-two picks, the team that picks third should have the choice of any defender.
