Raiders Ready for a Move to Sin City? Apply for Trademark “Las Vegas Raiders”

From Oakland, to Los Angeles, back to Oakland – to Las Vegas?

It may be closer to happening than many think, as playing in arguably the worst stadium in all of sports, the Raiders have officially inked the trademark “Las Vegas Raiders,” possibly with the thought of following through and moving, or possibly to put pressure on officials to build them a new stadium.

Chris Creamer wrote today on the trademark, and how the move could possibly be in place for the Raiders to leave yet another city, including a pic of the official trademark filed.

Obviously this would be huge news if the Raiders took off from Oakland and landed in Vegas, and it would be interesting to see how home games would draw visiting fans from other cities knowing how many people love to take gambling trips to Vegas.

Stay tuned for more on this ongoing story.
