QB Kaepernick Having a Tough Time Finding a New Team; GM Says Teams “”Genuinely Hate Him”

49’ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is still out on the free agent market, and so far he’s found no takers, despite being a quarterback that just led his team to the Super Bowl just a few short years ago.

Kaepernick has probably been sitting at home playing the top 10 online casinos waiting for calls to come in, and they just are not happening.

A new report out today doesn’t bode well for the controversial quarterback, who made headlines all over the place last preseason when he decided he would no longer stand for the National Anthem protesting police violence against minorities.

The report comes from Fox News, where an anonymous general manager from one of the teams in the AFC says that Kaepernick has three very big things working against him.

The GM stated to Bleacher Report that 70 percent of teams “genuinely hate him, and can’t stand what he did,” talking about the protest against the anthem, which lasted all season long.

“They think showing no interest is a form of punishment,” the manager said.

Kaepernick has come out and stated that he will go back to standing for the Star-Spangled Banner starting this next season and beyond, but right now no team has given the quarterback a contract offer, meaning he might be standing at home when the NFL season kicks back off in September.

“He can still play at a high level,” one AFC general manager said.

He might not get to prove it at this point, as he’s not been able to get any teams to even take a shot on bringing him in for a visit at this point.

Last season the quarterback started in 10 games, but only won one, a last season 22-21 win over the Los Angeles Rams. He wound up the season throwing for 16 touchdowns and four picks.

  1. I totally agree. These police patrol the streets risking there lives to keep us safe and hes over here disrespecting them. Not standing for the national anthem is not just disrespecting police, but also our military. Our military fights for also so he gets to play football and he won’t respect our flag and the national anthem he doesn’t deserve to play.
