Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is sending out the message that he expects every player in the organization to attend next week’s three-day mandatory minicamp according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Four veterans have not participated in the past few weeks of OTAs, preferring to work out on their own away from the team.
Those four players are left tackle Jason Peters, right tackle Lane Johnson, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and safety Malcolm Jenkins.
This offseason is the first one that has seen Jenkins opt out of the voluntary workouts and there is some thought that he may be looking for a revised contract before the start of the season. Pederson has had no issue with his veterans but is making it clear he expects to see them next week.
