Oakland Raiders DE Arden Key Expected to Miss Rest of 2019 with a Broken Foot

Raiders defensive end Arden Key suffered a broken foot in Sunday’s win over the Lions and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.

Key intends to get a second opinion from renowned foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson before making any long term decisions but the team fears the worst.

A third-round pick out of LSU in 2018, Key has been one of the few bright spots on the defensive side of the ball for the Raiders and has recorded two sacks and four quarterback hits in seven games.

The Raiders are expected to move forward with rookie Clelin Ferrell, Josh Mauro, Benson Mayowa and Maxx Crosby as their primary pass rushers for the rest of the season.
