New Orleans Saints Work Out Three Free Agent Cornerbacks

The Saints are hosting a trio of free agent cornerbacks on Wednesday as they attempt to flesh out their secondary according to Herbie Teope of NFL.com.

Those corners are Cory Sensabaugh, Prince Charles Iworah, and Kayvon Webster.

Sensabaugh, originally a fourth-round pick out of Clemson in 2012, has played for the Titans, Rams, Giants, and Steelers in his seven-year NFL career. The 30-year-old has mostly been a backup in his career and spent the 2018 season in Pittsburgh.

Iworah is younger, only 26, but has struggled to gain traction in the league. He entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick out of Western Kentucky by the 49ers in 2016 and has bounced around the league ever since.

Webster is probably the most talented of the three but also comes with a troubling injury history as he tore his Achilles in 2017 as a member of the Los Angeles Rams and hasn’t looked the same since. Originally a third-round pick of the Denver Broncos out of South Florida in 2013, tyhe 28-year-old Webster spent the 2018 season with the Houston Texans but played only 10 defensive snaps before landing on injured reserve. The Bears and 49ers are also apparently interested in his services.
