The NFL’s day off is today, and with it the Vikings were busy with their roster, making moves before the start of the official work week Wednesday.
The Vikings announced the signing of a pair of players, cornerback Marcus Sherels and wide out Laquon Treadwell.
With the two roster moves, the club put wide receiver Chad Beebe on injured reserve ending his year, and waived second-year linebacker Devante Downs.

Treadwell is back with the purple after he set career highs in receptions (35) and receiving yards (302) in 2018. he has played in 40 career games with 15 starts for the Vikings, amassing 517 yards on 56 receptions.
