Le’Veon Bell to Miss New York Jets Wednesday Practice with Illness

The Jets will be minus workhorse running back Le’Veon Bell on the practice field today, as NFL.com reports that illness will force the back to sit today.

Bell this season has rushed for 449 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 3.1 yards per carry. Last week against the Giants he rushed for 34 yards on 18 carries and a touchdowns in the team’s win.

The illness is not expected to be serious enough to sideline him for this Sunday’s game for the 2-7 Jets as they travel to D.C. to take on the 1-8 Washington Redskins.
