Kansas City Chiefs Running Back Damien Williams Out Sunday Against Ravens

Chiefs running back Damien Williams has been ruled out of Sunday’s AFC showdown against the Baltimore Ravens according to BJ Kissel of kcchiefs.com.

Williams has been unable to practice all week after suffering a knee injury in last week’s win in Oakland.

Fire up LeSean McCoy as a mid-tier RB2 as the lead back in the Chiefs’ high-flying offense. Still, the rushing game will need to show improved efficiency after totaling just 31 yards on 22 carries against the Raiders in Week 2.

It remains to be seen how much of a bell-cow role Shady will have, but we also expect rookie Darwin Thompson to be involved to a decent extent. The Ravens front seven is a good one but not as dominate as the 2018 version.
