Former Chargers, Patriots and Dolphins LB Junior Seau suffered from chronic brain damage his family told ABC News, ESPN in an exclusive interview.

Seau dead of a gunshot to the chest from a .357 magnum revolver in his bed after a morning workout on May 2nd, 2012. The 6-foot, 3-inch, 275-pound Seau, a star at Oceanside High, USC and the NFL, was taking prescription medicines for orthopedic problems and insomnia, and was under the care of Chargers physician Dr. David Chao.
