Jaguars wide receiver Terrelle Pryor is considered day-to-day with a hamstring injury according to NFL.com.
Pryor tweaked his hamstring in Thursday night’s preseason game against the Miami Dolphins. It does not sound like a long-term issue but any missed time by the 30-year-old converted quarterback reduces his odds of making the final 53-man roster.
Pryor signed a one-year deal to join the Jags in late May and always seemed like a longshot to stick in Jacksonville, as it is a team with no big names in their wideout corps but a lot of depth at the position. Pryor was already behind Dede Westbrook, D.J. Chark, Chris Conley and Keelan Cole and Marqise Lee’s activation from the PUP list likely sealed his fate.
Pryor has caught three passes for 26 yards on four targets thus far in the preseason. His receiving career has taken a steep nosedive since breaking out for 77 catches, 1,007 yards, and four touchdowns with the Browns back in 2016.
