Indianapolis Colts Safety Malik Hooker Out for Sunday’s Game Against Tennessee

Colts safety Malik Hooker is out for the team’s crucial Week 11 AFC South matchup against the Tennessee Titans according to Kevin Bowen of 1070TheFan.

Hooker is dealing with a knee injury and his absence comes at a particularly bad time as the Colts try to stay alive in the division race. In Hooker’s only missed game this season, Derek Carr completed 21-of-28 passes for 244 yards and three scores.

Marcus Mariota and the rest of the Tennessee offense has been heating up the past few weeks and the Colts defense needs all hands on deck. Originally the No.15-overall pick in the 2017 draft out of Ohio State, Hooker was off to a strong start in his rookie season before tearing his ACL in Week 7 and he has been equally effective this season with 31 tackles, one interception, and one fumble recovery in eight games.
