Green Bay Packers to Hire Titans OC Matt LaFleur as Their New Head Coach

The Packers have their sights set on a new head coach, as reports say it looks like they are ready to hire Tennessee Titans coordinator Matt LaFleur for the position.

The 39-year-old will become the 15th full-time coach the franchise, as he takes over for Mike McCarthy, who was fired late in the season after the loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

LaFleur, the Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator, chatted with the Packers Sunday.

LaFleur just concluded his first year as the Titans’ offensive coordinator after hold the same title in 2017 under Sean McVay for the Los Angeles Rams.

Tennessee finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs, ending the year No. 25 in total offense and No. 27 in scoring. The Titans were 29th in passing with quarterback Marcus Mariota but seventh in the league in rushing.
