Final 49′ers Team Meeting Featured Colonel Jim Minnick, Randy Moss

Trying to draw emotion to get his team pumped up for the Super Bowl, 49′ers coach Jim Harbaugh had a special surprise for his team during their final team meeting on Saturday night.

Harbaugh introduced the 49ers to Colonel Jim Minnick, a friend he’s had since the eighth grade.

Minnick encouraged the players to leave it all on the field for their teammates, play together and be prepared to overcome adversity because nothing ever goes as planned, offering examples from his military career.

The player who spoke was veteran WR Randy Moss, who talked about being part of the 18-0 Pats team that lost to the Giants in the 2007 season.
