Tampa Bay Storm WR Chandler Williams, excited to return to an up-and-coming squad that GM Derrick Brooks has molded together, passed away today during a Miami flag football tournament. The cause of death is considered to be a heart condition.

Williams was with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL at one point, and on practice squads with the Minnesota Vikings (who drafted him in round 7 of the 2007 Draft, the 2nd FIU player ever taken), Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons.

In 12 games for the Storm last season, Williams had 83 receptions for 994 yards and 17 TDs. He also had 36 returns for 829 yards, 23.0 yards a pop, for 3 more TDs.

His Twitter account is here. He was just 27 and left behind a daughter, Tori Summer-Rose Williams.
