The Miami Dolphins have been the most controversial team in free agency, given the amount of money they gave out and the positions those new players play.
The one question many had was “Who’s going to be the #1 tight end?”. It might be answered now. According to NFL Network, Miami is nearing a deal with former New York Jets tight end Dustin Keller. UPDATE: He is taking his physical. Keller is a shifty receiver with a nice frame. He’s had injury issues, but also has experienced some poor play-calling on an offense with bad protection for erratic QB Mark Sanchez. Keller – who led the Jets in receptions in 2011 – received 17 TDs in 72 games with New York.
Hit “Like” if you think he and Charles Clay will make a great TE tandem!
