There’s been plenty of rumors about the Lions looking or at least listening to offers for cornerback Darius Slay, a player that could bring them a decent return if they find the right trading partner.
It sounds though like a deal isn’t going to happen, as NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo says that now that the deadline is close to happening, the Lions asking price is just too high for many teams that would love to acquire Slay.
Here’s a tweet with the news about Slay:
From @gmfb: The #Lions’ asking price for CB Darius Slay has remained incredibly high so I don’t see him getting traded today, nor has there been any indication #Giants CB Janoris Jenkins is on the move. #NFLTradeDeadline #AsOfRightNow pic.twitter.com/7mMEPkvAaP
