David Greene, Doug Flutie, John and Josh Booty Compete to Pitch For Diamondbacks

MLB Network has recruited former Boston Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield to coach former quarterbacks to become “The Next Knuckler” for the Arizona Diamondbacks, starting February 13th at 9 PM ET.

Another former Red Sox player, Kevin Millar, will co-host with Wakefield.

The competitors in this reality show are QBs David Greene (Georgia), Josh Booty (LSU), Ryan Perrilloux (LSU), John David Booty (USC), and Doug Flutie (Boston College). The victor will get an invite to Arizona Diamondbacks training camp. Flutie is 50 years old.

Josh Booty played minor league baseball in the Florida Marlins organization straight out of high school before giving it up to play at LSU in 1999-2000. Perrilloux played high school baseball for East St. John in Louisiana.
