Chicago Bears Release Slate of Home Uniforms to Be Worn for the 2019 Season

The Bears on Wednesday released their schedule of home uniforms, and they’ll wear traditional navy for both preseason home games as well as the season opener Sept. 5 against the Packers, Phil Thompson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

The ’36 “classic” also features a white jersey with a Bears 100th anniversary patch and navy and orange stripes on the shoulders and sleeves. The navy helmet has orange stripes in a pattern reminiscent of vintage football helmets.

In another alternate uniform, the Bears don 1960s-era helmets with a white “C” and gray face mask Nov. 24 against the Giants. The white “C” made its debut on the helmet in 1962, according to the Bears.

They’ll break out the classic 1936 whites the next home game Sept. 29 against the Vikings. They’ll wear the same ’30s throwbacks Dec. 5 against the Cowboys.
