The Chiefs have spent the last week or so hitting the road, hosting private workouts with several possibilities for their No. 1 overall pick in next month’s 2013 NFL Draft, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and NFL.com reports.
Now, they are heading back home for the last two visits.
According to sources briefed on the Chiefs’ plans, the team will be bringing West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith and Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner to Kansas City.
Among the top prospects the Chiefs held private, on-campus workouts for were Florida defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel, Oklahoma offensive tackle Lane Johnson, and Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher.
