The Chargers could have some awful news to deal with, as the team may have lost their first round draft pick from a season ago, that being defensive end/LB Melvin Ingram.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Ingram suffered a potentially serious knee injury today, and the Bolts are fearing it’s a torn ACL.
If their fears are confirmed, then the season is over before it started for Ingram. For now, he is still having tests done to see exactly what the injury is.
No word as to how Ingram suffered the injury during non-contact OTA’s.
With Ingram possibly out for the year, the Chargers could take a look at former Falcons DE John Abraham.
The #Chargers could look at John Abraham.
