Bye Weeks Start In NFL Week Four; 13 Games Thursday to Monday

NFL Media Day

Six teams are going to be able to sit at home and watch their NFL brothers play in 13 games on Sunday, as the Cardinals, Rams, Bengals, Browns, Broncos and Seahawks all get the first bye week of the NFL season this weekend.

The Cardinals are the only NFC unbeaten of the bunch at 3-0, and they will likely have a keen eye on their NFC West counterparts, the 49ers, as they will be at home this weekend to take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

The two AFC North teams on bye, the unbeaten Bengals and the 1-2 Browns will watch their other two AFC North foes take on a pair of the teams from the NFC South, as the Steelers will play host to the Tampa Bay Bucs, and the Ravens will be at home against the Panthers.

The Seahawks are 2-1, and like the Cardinals and Rams will get a chance to rest up and watch their rivals the 49ers. Seattle is coming off a win over the also on bye Broncos.

Denver is 2-1, and coming off that tough loss in overtime against the Seahawks. They have the option to watch the Raiders take on the Dolphins in London, the Chargers against the Jags, or the Chiefs on Monday night against the Patriots.

Out of the 13 games, there looks to be plenty of odds in favor of the home team, as out of those games, the home team is favorite in 9 of the games.

The two biggest lines of the weekend involve the Chargers taking on the Jaguars, and it would seem to make sense given how the Jags are ready to go though growing pains with a new QB in first-round pick Blake Bortles. The Jags are a 12 to 13 point underdog in most books.

The other heavy underdog is Tampa, who gave up a ton of points last week vs the Falcons, as they get set for a showdown with the 2-1 Steelers, who got a huge road win over the Panthers.

The Bucs have issues scoring points, but could get a lift this week with the return of RB Doug Martin, who sat out the last game with an injury.

Tampa is a touchdown underdog in most books.

So get ready for a big week, check those fantasy lineups to make sure not to have players on bye in your lineup, and remember to click here to bet at William Hill.
