The Buffalo Bills have announced that GM Buddy Nix is walking away, as the 73-year-old will take on an advisory role with the club.

It’s a move that’s been expected for several months. The move will open the door for the teams assistant GM, Doug Whaley, to take over the Bills GM spot.
Nix wanted to remain as the teams GM for the teams draft, a move that will forever be talked about as the club surprised many by taking Florida State quarterback EJ Manuel in the first round.
