Branden Albert Trade Talks Between Miami And KC Dead

For the past few weeks the Dolphins and Chiefs had been discussing a deal that would sent left tackle Branden Albert to South Beach.

Now, that deal is off the table, and the Chiefs will go back to the drawing board and look for other offers for the big tackle.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com says that the Miami-KC deal for Albert is done, as the Dolphins offered just a third-rounder for Albert, not the 54th overall, and that killed the deal.

Now of course that doesn’t mean talks won’t start up again at some point, but for now Albert returns to the Chiefs as the left tackle while he waits for his future to be determined and to see if the Chiefs can move him elsewhere.
