The Ravens have placed left guard Alex Lewis on the active/PUP list for the start of training camp according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.
Lewis underwent offseason shoulder surgery in January but was expected to be fully ready for training camp. He played throught he injury in 2018 as the Ravens the Ravens earned a playoff berth. At the time of the surgery, team officials speculated Lewis would be ready for the start of training camp but initially placing him on PUP may be designed to make certain he is fully recovered by Week 1.
A fourth-round pick out of Nebraska in 2016, the 27-year-old Lewis missed the entire 2017 season due to injury and has struggled at times as both a pass and run blocker. He is scheduled to become a free agent in 2020.
