Anquan Boldin

A few years after being traded out of the NFC West, – and just after defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVIIWR Anquan Boldin is back again.

The Baltimore Ravens have traded Q to the San Francisco 49ers for a 6th-round draft pick. Fox was the first to report. Q is going into his 11th season, yet – even without the 49ers using many 3-WR sets – will participate in more snaps than Randy Moss did last year.

He had previously said he would retire if he didn’t return to the Ravens. I guess he likes playing for Harbaughs, and gave them assurance he’d play prior to being dealt.

Fans who think “Why didn’t my team offer a 5th or something?” should understand that Boldin, at this stage of his career, probably is selective about where he’d play.
