While it was already announced that Beyonce would be the Super Bowl XLVII halftime act, people have been waiting to hear who would be belting out the National Anthem before the game.
Wait no more.
Alicia Keys, the Grammy-winning R&B singer has been lined up to perform the national anthem before the big game which will kickoff about 6:30pm on February 3rd in New Orleans.
The NFL has not yet officially announced the anthem singer, but the AP reports a source on condition of anonymity.
Keys, who turns 32 next week, released her fifth studio album, “Girl on Fire,” late last year.
The NFL said in October that Beyonce will be the star of the halftime show at this year’s Super Bowl. She sang the national anthem at the 2004 NFL title game in her hometown of Houston.
