Jim Caldwell as good as gone as Colts coach?
It’s starting to sound more and more like the Colts are going into the offseason with not only the first overall pick in the NFL Draft in April, but also a new coach.
Various reports are stating that current coach Jim Caldwell, no matter what happens in the final three games of the current 0-13 season for the Colts, is going to be fired and the team will look for another coach.
Vice chairman Bill Polian was asked on his radio show if coach Caldwell will be fired, and Polian didn’t exactly give Caldwell a vote of confidence.
Polian said, ‘My fervent hope is that Jim’s job is not in jeopardy because my fervent hope is that we don’t go 0-16, and we’re doing everything we can to try and avoid that.’”
In other words – get ready for a new coach in Indy.
