Dashon Goldson fined $25K
49ers safety Dashon Goldson was fined $25,000 by the NFL on Friday for punching Cardinals receiver Early Doucet in last Sunday’s game.
Doucet was fined $10,000 for unnecessary roughness when he struck Goldson in the helmet area.
Panthers release FB Felton
The Panthers announced that fullback Jerome Felton has been placed on waivers. Claimed off waivers from the Lions, Felton had three carries for 10 yards and caught two passes for 24 yards in nine games, including one start, for the Panthers this season. Leslie Fraizer on Peterson: “Very, Very Doubtful” for Sunday at Atlanta
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game at Atlanta because of a high ankle sprain, but apparently the injury report doesn’t do Peterson’s injury justice, according to Jeremy Fowler and Brian Murphy of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
