Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick reported “very little pain” after two days of working on resistance cords, but he’s unlikely to suit up Sunday against the 3-0 Lions according to Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com.
Scandrick suffered a high ankle sprain in the Cowboys’ Week one 27-24 loss to the Jets.
“I feel good,” Scandrick said. “I feel like I’m doing everything to get back out there.”
That being said, Scandrick’s return will likely follow the Cowboys’ Week 5 bye instead of Sunday in Big D against Detroit.
“It’s not going to do any good to get me back out there for one week and then miss another four or five weeks,” Scandrick said
