Cardinals running back Chris “Beanie” Wells expects to play Sunday against the Giants according to Darren Urban of AzCardinals.com.
Wells via Twitter said, “I sat out last week so I could be safe this week.”
The former Ohio State back suffered a hamstring injury in practice last week.
Last week, backup rookie running back Alfonso Smith, an undrafted free agent from Kentucky, filled the former Buckeye’s role in the backfield against the Seahawks; carrying the rock 17 times for 54 yards, including three catches for 21 yards.
