On the first official day of free agency Seattle has stayed mostly quiet since they made their giant free agent splash about 48 hours ago, mostly agreeing to terms with their own.
The team re-signed linebacker Leroy Hill to a presumed one year contract, adding necessary depth after the loss of Will Herring.
Hill signed a lucrative 6 year, $36 million deal several seasons ago to become the full time starter only to be hampered by legal issues and injuries, eventually being surpassed on the depth chart by David Hawthorne.
Hill will be given every chance to compete for the starting job and becomes a valuable rotational player. You can view all Seahawks comings and goings as they happen on our Free Agency Tracker. as well as Seahawks Roster Needs
