Waters Was Super Reliable
The ever-consistent Brian Waters has been cut, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, by the only team he ever suited up for in the NFL.
Waters, a five-time Pro Bowl offensive guard for the Kansas City Chiefs, was an iron man, missing only three contests since ’01.
Undrafted out of North Texas, the top notch lineman was a back-to-back All-Pro selection from ’04-05.
The 11-year pro was voted 67th in the NFL Network’s Top 100 players of 2011.
Look for last year’s third round pick Jon Asamoah or this year’s second rounder Rodney Hudson (Florida State) to fill the void left by Waters at left guard for the Chiefs.
