Could Ronnie Return To South Beach?
Ronnie Brown is back in play for the Dolphins – even if he’s only the second option.
With his future in Miami up in the air, Brown has been chatting with the Aqua and Coral front office, according to ESPN’s John Clayton via Twitter:
The Dolphins have renewed talks with Ronnie Brown. Makes you wonder if they wonder if they can get Ahmad Bradshaw.
As for Bradshaw landing in Miami, he has the Dolphins and his own team neck and neck, according to Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald:
I just spoke to RB Ahmad Bradshaw, who said Giants and Dolphins are at top of his list: “I can’t say either team has the upper hand.”
The Giants free agent running back has said it’s a race between only two teams:
Bradshaw said “a couple other teams” are in the mix, but he made it very clear: Dolphins and Giants are top choices. I even asked twice.
Is Ricky Williams now the odd man out in the Sunshine State? With rookie second round pick (Kansas State) Daniel Thomas already counted upon to carry the rock, I believe the Dolphins are looking for a compliment to Thomas, and Bradshaw would be the wisest choice.
I’m being told Ahmad Bradshaw has exited the Dolphins’ price range. Look for him to return to the Giants unless terms change on his requests
