According to WFAN New York, the agent for retired Giants running back Tiki Barber said Wednesday that two teams have shown “serious interest in ther impending free agent.
“We feel like we already know where we’re going (to sign),” added the agent. The Giants have yet to release Barber, so there’s a bit of a gray area for tampering here. The agent insists his conversations with teams happened during draft weekend when the lockout was temporarily lifted.
Opinion is split on Tiki’s return to the NFL. Some analysts believe he won’t even make a final roster while others think he can still be more than just a third-down back.
