Posted in Dan Pompei of the National Football Post reports it is believed a number of teams already have handshake agreements in place with undrafted free agents, and the big whigs on Park Avenue are not happy about it.
In fact, the league is investigating the situation by questioning undrafted players. Fines could be forthcoming. The NFL expressly told teams they were not even allowed to contact players during the draft and tell them they would like to sign them as free agents.
