The Dolphins already added a huge playmaker in wide out Brandon Marshall this past offseason, could they possibly add another one?
Dan McLellan, the CBSSports.com RapidReporter for the Chargers, tweeted earlier today the following about the Dolphins possible interest in unhappy Charger WR Vincent Jackson.
Rumors out of Miami – Dolphins have interest in Vincent Jackson. Will A.J. Smith bite?
What a blockbuster that would be if the Dolphins could make some moves to land Jackson to team up with Marshall. Right now Brian Hartline is on the depth chart opposite Marshall, but he only had 31 grabs for 506 yards and three TD’s last season.
Compare that to Jackson’s 68 catches for 1167 yards and 9 TD’s, and you could have the best 1-2 punch in the AFC in pass catchers if the Dolphins can get a deal done.
Now the big question – could they pull a deal for Jackson off?

No.
Three words for the TRIFECTA!!!
GET IT DONE!!! It would give the Dolphins the best WR tandem in the league and we’d be set on offense for years!!! Pull the trigger now!!
DOLFANKIRB, Wash St’s #1 FINFAN!!
Two words: FREE SAFETY! We have a decent receiving corps…but we have a questionable secondary.
It would depend on the price. If the price was right the Dolphins would go for it. Man what a WR corps the Dolphins would have. Marshall is elite, Hartline was a rookie last year, and Bess is going into his third year. Bess also apparently had the highest % of 3rd down conversion catches. Add Jackson to the mix to go with the power run game and that is potentially a Top 3 offense, depending on how much Henne improves.
Newfags can’t triforce.
Do it Now!!! How much greater will our running game be with those 2 wide out on the team and Bess as a slot option! Almost equal to LBJ, Wade & Bosh. Pick Your Poison Baby. How do you want to die! By R&R or by V&B. Your choice.
DOOO IIITTT!!!!
