Texans OTA’s are in full effect, and the position battles are too. ABC 13 Eyewitness News Sports Director Bob Allen told the 6 o’clock news on Tuesday that the starting running back competition ranks as follows:
1. Arian Foster
2. Steve Slaton
3. Ryan Moats
4. Ben Tate
Tate has yet to practice with the team due to his hamstring injury, but he is a true sleeper for the starting job. Slaton’s already stated he wants the job and feels he should be the number one back. Foster and Moats were both effective last year, but the 53-man opening day roster will probably only list one of them. This saga to be continued…
