Titans Owner Adams Says He Wants Young to Start at QB
Posted by Matt Loede under Tennessee Titans

There’s only so much more time for Jeff Fisher to push Kerry Collins at Titans fans as QB. The team has to figure out their future at the position, and they have to find out if Vince Young is ever going to be a solid QB again. With that, Titans owner Bud Adams says he wants Young to get a shot as the QB:
Titans owner Bud Adams wants Vince Young starting at quarterback beginning with Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. Following the 59-0 loss to the Patriots on Oct. 18 that dropped the Titans to 0-6, Adams told The Tennessean he’d made Coach Jeff Fisher aware of his desire to see Young play. In the past week the 86-year-old owner has been more direct, according to sources familiar with the situation. Adams wants the change now. At his weekly press conference earlier in the day, Fisher was non-committal when asked if Kerry Collins or Young would start this week.
Young seemed ineffective and disinterested in the time he played in the loss to the Pats two weeks ago. The Titans have the Jaguars next, and if they struggle, it could mean a shift at the QB spot as it could be the end of Collins if Adams has anything to say about it.
